These elegant business cards are printed on 16pt stock and laminated on both sides with a 1.5mil scuff-resistant, soft velvet suede laminate. The result is a unique 19pt thickness and raised UV that measures 50 microns far exceeding regular spot UV.

Spot UV File Preparation

How should I prepare my file for spot UV printing?

Your regular color file should come with a spot UV template layer that shows where to apply the spot UV printing.

Apply 100% K to the section that will have spot UV.

For better quality we recommend creating mask files in vector based programs such as Illustrator or CorelDRAW.

Please only use solid 100% K to indicate where you would like the UV. Do not use shadows, glows or grayscale images. White will indicate no UV.
